Jane and a stalk-ball

Happy New Year to all,
I've cautiously ID'd this as Phleogena fagina (Fenugreek stalk-ball). Cautiously, because it's supposed to be rare, although I suspect that it's just very overlooked. I have seen this in at least 2 different locations in the woodland, on beech or birch, and on oak. Any re-id would be welcome!
All the best,
Jane.
Maybe, if you look at my photos, you could post a short reply, one word would be enough, (so long as it's not rubbish!)

Hello Jane, probably right but I don't think anyone in the group does slime molds.
