A little snow in December
Snowy waxcaps growing on little patch of grass and moss (and small plane trees) near the Leatside Doctor's surgery in Totnes.
They used to be Hygrocybe virginea but are now Cuphophyllus virgineus , probably the least fussy of the "waxcaps" as regards habitat.
They probably won't be around for long with the frost.
