Autumn foray dates 2026
We organise forays from March to December each year. There are frequent forays in the autumn when the larger fungi are most in evidence and once a month or so at other times of the year. Please use the contact form if you are interested in joining our group.
20th September – Stover Country Park, near Newton Abbot
27th September – Abbeyford Woods, near Okehampton
4th October – Cann Woods, near Plymouth
11th October – Decoy Park, Newton Abbot
25th October – Mutters Moor, near Sidmouth
8th November – Heathercombe, Dartmoor
22nd November – Dawlish Warren
6th December – Fingle Bridge, near Drewsteignton
20th December – Chudleigh Knighton Heath, near Chudleigh
Length of forays
Forays always start in the morning and normally last until lunchtime but may continue into the afternoon when conditions are favourable.
