Foray programme

Spring and Summer foray dates 2026

We organise forays from March to December each year. There are frequent forays in the autumn when the larger fungi are most in evidence and once a month or so at other times of the year. Please use the contact form if you are interested in joining our group.

29th March – Hackney Marsh, near Newton Abbot

12th April – Saltram Estate, near Plymouth

10th May – Killerton Estate, near Exeter

7th June – Hembury Woods, near Buckfastleigh

26th July – Backs Woods, near Tiverton

16th August – Burrator Reservoir, near Tavistock

Length of forays

Forays always start in the morning and normally last until lunchtime but may continue into the afternoon when conditions are favourable.
