Foray programme

Spring and Summer foray dates 2025

We organise forays from March to December each year. There are frequent forays in the autumn when the larger fungi are most in evidence and once a month or so at other times of the year. Please use the contact form if you are interested in joining our group.

6th April – Hackney Marsh, near Newton Abbot

27th April – Saltram Estate, near Plymouth

11th May, Ashclyst Forest, near Broadclyst

20th July, Killerton Park, near Silverton

3rd August – Fingle Woods, near Dunsford

24th August – Venford Reservoir, near Ashburton

Length of forays

Forays always start in the morning and normally last until lunchtime but may continue into the afternoon when conditions are favourable.
