Devon Fungus Group Forays
Autumn foray dates 2025
We organise forays from March to December each year. There are frequent forays in the autumn when the larger fungi are most in evidence and once a month or so at other times of the year. Please use the contact form if you are interested in joining our group.
14th September – Abbeyford Woods, near Okehampton
28th September – Flete Estate, near Plymouth
5th October, Decoy Park, near Newton Abbot
19th October, Meeth Quarry, near Hatherleigh
26th October – Mamhead Woods, near Exeter
9th November – Burrator Reservoir, near Tavistock
30th November – Bystock Pools, near Exmouth
14th December – Fingle Bridge, near Drewsteignton
Length of forays
Forays always start in the morning and normally last until lunchtime but may continue into the afternoon when conditions are favourable.
